North Haven Church
2240 15th Ave. E., North St. Paul, MN 55109
Come and join other women as we grow together in our relationship with the Lord and others through this important Old Testament Book.
The book of Ruth is a powerful story of commitment and love between Naomi, a Jewish mother-in-law, and her Moabite daughter-in law, Ruth. It is a story of God’s redemption, hope, restoration, and kindness in the midst of heartache, loss, bitterness, and despair. It is the story of God’s plan and purposes for ordinary women, who are used by The Lord in powerful and significant ways. It is the story of a poor widow and foreigner who becomes the honored great grandmother of King David and in the lineage of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Week One (10/11) : Introduction and Background
Week Two (10/18) : Chapter One - Ruth and Naomi, Widows and Foreigners, “Where You Go I Will Go”
*Note: Sherry will provide a “make-up” session for those who may have a conflict on October 18 due to the MEA school break.
